Pledged to stand up for human rights in your communities: to support the basic rights and freedoms to which all humans are entitled, regardless of their nationality, gender, ethnic origin, sexuality, color, physical ability, religion, language, and/or economic status.
Today, December 10th, is Human Rights Day, which commemorates the day in 1948 when the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
This year, the UN’s Human Rights Day calls on everyone to stand up for someone’s rights. YALI celebrates those who work to protect human rights and honor our differences today and every day. If you are against prejudice and bias in your community, we urge you to join #YALIStands4All and the YALI Network in supporting this essential principle.
Pledge to raise awareness about human rights and tell us what you stand for. After you pledge, you will receive a personalized graphic. Share this with your friends on social media using #YALIStands4All.

In the words of President Barack Obama, “Change will not come if we wait for some other person or if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.” Visit yali.state.gov/4All to learn more about #YALIStands4All.
